THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE ‘MOCKINGJAY PIN’ (Photo) – In The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the mockingjay pin plays a more significant role than it did in the previous film. Straying from the book, the film showed Katniss purchasing the mockingjay pin and having it with her during the Games. President Snow also catches a glimpse of it, which does not happen in the book. In the sequel, the seemingly ordinary pin becomes an important symbol of rebellion against the Capitol. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Sam Claflin, Stanley Tucci, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Donald Sutherland, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Jena Malone, and Lenny Kravitz.
PLOT: Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark become targets of the Capitol after their victory in the 74th Hunger Games sparks a rebellion in the Districts of Panem.
