THE HUNGER GAMES MOCKINGJAY WELCOMES LILY RABE – Lionsgate announced that Lily Rabe has joined the cast of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay as Commander Lyme. Lyme, a strong independent woman, was a past victor of an unknown Hunger Games, a Commander of the rebellion in District 2. She was willing to risk anything for District 2 to become aligned with the other districts against the Capitol. The last two movies of the franchise will focus on the ever-growing fight against the corrupt government, which leads to an all-out war. Lily Rabe is best known for her portrayal of Portia in the Shakespeare in the Park production of William Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice, and in her roles in each season of the FX anthology series American Horror Story. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 also stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Natalie Dormer, and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
PLOT: Katniss Everdeen reluctantly becomes the symbol of a mass rebellion against the autocratic Capitol.
