THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE CANNES (Video) – Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin and director Francis Lawrence walked the red carpet to promote The Hunger Games: Catching Fire at the Cannes Film Festivaleven though the movie is still in post-production.”This movie is visually huge and stunning,” Jennifer Lawrence promised. “I think that it is just a real emotional story, the performances are fantastic, I think the action is fantastic, I’m really pleased on how the story came together,” director Francis Lawrence told reporters. Speaking about the new director, new comer Sam Claflin said, “I think they are really are going to enjoy Francis’ vision. It’s kind of keeping in tune with what Gary Ross created but at the same time giving it a fresh new take on it.”
In the movie Katniss must participate in a travel tour, visiting the districts and also preparing for the next Hunger Game. While all this is happening, a rebellion is slowly brewing and her loved ones are caught right in the middle of it. After the carpet, everyone went to the Capitol Party at Baoli Beach to party the night away.
PLOT: Katniss and Peeta’s victory is cut short as the Quarter Quell puts them back into the Hunger Games for the second time.
