EMPIRE STATE TRAILER (Video) – Liam Hemsworth needs a good plan to escape the sights of The Rock in Empire State. Hemsworth stars as Chris, a young guy who wants to be a cop, but gets rejected from the NYPD. He reluctantly decides to become an armored car escort, but on his first day, a robbery makes him second-guess his career. After news of the incident spread, Eddie (Michael Angarano), Chris’ childhood friend, persuades him to rob the armored car depository, but while they’re stealing the money, Detective James Ransome (Dwayne Johnson) arrives during the robbery. Although he did not see Chris helping his friend, Ransome still suspects him, and thus begins a cat and mouse game between the two men. Empire State also stars Emma Roberts, Nikki Reed, and Jerry Ferrara.
PLOT: A drama centered on two childhood friends who plan to rob an armored car depository, and the NYPD officer who stands in their way.
